The You and Europe Scholarship 2025 is now accepting applications in an effort to promote cultural diversity and develop European understanding. This esteemed scholarship program, which is a partnership between the Alfred Toepfer Stiftung FVS and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, provides international students from all over Europe with an unmatched chance to study for a master's degree in Germany while also advancing the conversation on European unity.
What Is the You and Europe Scholarship?
The award is intended to help students from European nations (including those outside the EU) who have excelled academically and have a strong interest in European affairs. It seeks to establish a network of socially conscious people who are dedicated to promoting respect, tolerance, and cultural variety throughout Europe.

Scholarship Benefits
- Networking Opportunities: Attendance at two yearly conferences with an emphasis on European issues, where all program fees, lodging, and meals are paid for. The cost of travel is covered.

Eligibility Highlights:
- Available to students who intend to enroll in a master's program in Germany (evidence of admission must be submitted by the beginning of the funding year).
- All academic fields are welcome, with the exception of the performing and visual arts, design, film, and music.
- Candidates must perform academically above average (in the top 10–15% of their class).
- Fluency in English is necessary, although knowledge in German is not.
- We seek applications from candidates who have a keen interest in European problems.
- Although those currently enrolled in a master's program are exempt, students who have previously studied in Germany or obtained a bachelor's degree there are not eligible.
