The following are some of the main duties of the ERBM Department Head:
Overseeing correspondence between the Bank and its elected officials and making certain that pertinent decisions and records are shared. Arranging and supervising the logistics of the Board of Governors and Board of Directors meetings. Supplying the Bank's Boards with secretariat services, such as creating agendas for meetings with annotations and making sure that all paperwork and records are kept up to date. Supplying the board of directors with secretarial services, such as creating agendas, recording decisions, and adding pertinent data to intranet resources. Establishing and implementing the Bank's relations with the outside world and communications strategy. Promoting the image and boosting public knowledge of the Bank.
Maintaining ties with the media in order to raise knowledge of the Bank's functions and role both domestically and internationally. Coordinating with the ECO and potential the member nations to cultivate and uphold a positive public perception of the Bank. Putting up different kinds of events, like forums and conferences. Arranging and carrying out the Bank's publication program. Press releases are prepared, distributed to major publications, and posted online by the Bank. Keeping the Bank's website up to date and maintained, making sure the content is accurate and pertinent. Working with other divisions to maintain certain areas of the Bank's website and liaising with outside website management firms for upkeep concerns.
Requirements for Education and Experience
The following credentials and abilities are necessary for the ideal candidate:
- International relations, business administration, or similar subjects as a bachelor's degree subject. It is preferred to have a master's degree in these subjects.
- A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience, ideally gained in an international or multinational institution.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to show a hands-on attitude and make judgments quickly.
- The capacity to multitask and function effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with discretion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Adeptness in planning and directing board and committee conferences.
- Good at formal decision-making and documentation, as well as taking thorough notes in meetings.
