In Australia, applications for the Charles Darwin University RTP Scholarship for 2025 are currently being accepted. The fully funded fellowship recipients will need to enroll in the university's Higher Degree by Research program between January 6, 2025, and March 31, 2025. The Research Training Program (RTP) provides block grants to higher education providers (HEPs) to support local and foreign students pursuing research master's and doctorate degrees. These degrees, also known as higher degrees by research (HDRs), have funding available for them.

- Recipients of the Australian Government RTP Compensation Scholarships are distinguished research students who intend to pursue an HDR at an Australian university.
- The scholarships are meant to assist students in meeting their general living expenses.
- Full-time students will receive tax-free annual compensation of AU$32,192 (2024 rate);
- part-time students will receive taxable annual compensation of AU$16,096 (2024 rate);
- aid in vacation accrual; maternity leave will be provided; and relocating allowance up to $2,500 for international students and $2,000 for domestic students will be provided for RTP stipend recipients.

- A full-time Higher Degree by Research (HDR) degree at Charles Darwin University is a requirement for applicants.
- For admission to Charles Darwin University's Master's or Doctorate programs in research, candidates must fulfill certain academic prerequisites.
- The completion of both a bachelor's and master's degree is a requirement for eligibility for a doctorate scholarship.
- Applicants need to have earned their bachelor's degree in order to be eligible for a master's scholarship.

- More than 75% of the RTP stipend rate cannot be obtained by applicants from outside sources of funding.
- To be eligible for an HDR program, applicants must exhibit extraordinary potential for research.

- You have the option to "save and continue later"—in which case you will receive an email comprising a link that you may use to finish the application form at a later time.

- Proof of citizenship must be provided via a copy of your birth certificate, current passport, or residency visa.
- Authentic copies of all prior postsecondary education's transcripts and certificates of achievement. proof of oversight, such as correspondence with your prospective supervisor via email.
- A 1500–1700 word research overview on the suggested study project. Included should be the project title, the overall research field, a brief description, ethical guidelines, and any other pertinent issues pertaining to the study.
